Handyman Hardware & Supply
 Bill
and Doris Heuser previously worked for Digital Equipment Corporation
(now Hewlett Packard) in Massachusetts. Their son, Rick, was working
in a half-way house through the state juvenile system. Bill decided
it was time for a change and wanted to own a hardware store.
After looking for three years they finally found a location in
St. Cloud through a Do-it-Best representative. In December 1986,
they opened their hardware store, Handyman Hardware. They originally
started with hardware supplier, Sentry, and in a few years switched
to Do-it-Best.
Located at 1410 10th St., Downtown St. Cloud, their historic location
helps keep them an integral part of the downtown business community
and building inventory.
Bill and Doris travel to Wilksboro, New Hampshire, in the spring,
summer and fall. Rick oversees the daily operations of the hardware
store.
